The restaurant had only one person handling coffee, drinks, and clearing tables, so they were often overwhelmed. I only received one cup of coffee, which wasn't filled again until we were about to leave. The food was good, and the server was friendly, but they definitely had too much on their plate. What User doesn't like about Market Table The Alexander:
Thanksgiving buffet, edge overcooked eating, service was a mixed bag. Apparently the last seats were for buffet, eating was worn out, no wein served, salattic was a mess and not pulling something. Buffet entries were obviously from the beginning of the day. no wine is served to say. when we sat, we were advised that our server was in the bathroom. tmi. I don't know. all were nice. with tipp, $100, would have expected... View all feedback.
We arrived at 10:15 a.m. and were informed that they changed from breakfast to brunch. why I am not sure at this time on a Sunday, why, but they did. their brunch options were not good at all. I don't know what they had at breakfast, but all they had to brunch was white rice, spade, a smashed chicken and breakfast meat and cookies, which I certainly left from breakfast. they had an Omelette area and when someone worked there, they totally ignored you. I saw some people with French toast or agitation, but again someone had to ask who works at the omelette station but much luck with it.
We didn’t realize that we were almost the last reservation time for the Thanksgiving dinner. Some of the food had been out for awhile and was dry and felt rushed bc were shutting things down. Disappointed as we were really looking forward to it.
Our second visit to Market Table for the Drag Brunch event. Andy and the restaurant staff are always consistently great as are the entertainers. Truly a great time for something different than a bar setting for great entertainment.
Drag brunch was great, the performers were excellent. The service was excellent! The food? Meh.
Drag brunch was super empty. Food was delicious thou!
