The Kan Kan is such a nice place. It’s probably my favorite place to see films. The staff is always nice, the food is excellent, and the film offerings are always diverse. View all feedback.
What Jennifer Kesner doesn't like about Kan-kan Cinema And Brasserie:
Not entirely sure how I feel on this space. I recently went for the first time and while the theater and restaurant was beautiful, I found the staff to be condescending. Please be aware if you dont have a certain look, you will be treated as if you just walked off the streets of the terrible neighborhood this place is located. Looking past that, the theater was comfortable and I enjoyed the vintage film that played.... View all feedback.
I visited Kan Kan Cinema and Brasserie today, and it was really nice. The place was pleasing to the eye and the people there were very friendly (employees and customers alike . Unfortunately I didn't try the food yet, but I did order a Blue Hawaiian cocktail. It was delicious.???? The theater seats were comfortable. (They don't recline though. The bathrooms were very clean and pristine as well. They're also all gender bathrooms. Overall, I really like this theater and I can see myself going there quite often in the future.
What a clean, fun place right in the center of our neighborhood. It's new , shiny, very respectful and not to mention the great ownership that run the place. The popcorn is a stand in line any day for. I mean I'm hooked. Even when I'm not staying to watch the movie I buy the popcorn to go. Not on bag or two I buy three at a time. This place is a must stop by and see to appreciate. Check them on their website as well.
First time at Kan Kan, and have no excuse why it took us so damned long. The design and decor are fabulous. We liked that the restaurant's design is intended to keep your focus on your dining companions and the amazing food. Normally, we would order 2 different items, but soft shell crab was on the menu- and we both had to have it! The crabs were delicious, prepared Nashville style, which was smoky, slightly sweet. We split the asparagus salad with was deliciously lemony and salty with a sharp bite. We left nothing on the plate. Then we had the pleasure of going in and watching the wonderful Jazz Fest movie.... What a comfy and cozy experience to see such a great movie, hunkered down in our seats with our effervescent wine and beer. It was a mini vacation! Thanks, Kan-Kan!
Great place to catch a movie. I love that they have movies that other theaters don't screen. If the brassiere is open I strongly recommend grabbing a cocktail to take into the theater. They even have excellent non alcoholic cocktails. The food is incredible too.
Seats were comfortable and well spaced from the other rows. Concession prices were also so much more reasonable than most other theaters. We got two boxes of candy and a large drink for only $12.
