Contribute Feedback What Rafael Polidoro likes about Gatsby's Pub Grill:
I loved the spinach artichoke dip. Pita was great. The tortilla chips didn't taste very good. The breaded chicken sandwich was good too. There was a trivia night happening (all Saturday evenings, it seems). I think the cordon Bleu entree was ok. A lot of food. Beer selection is okay for Americans. View all feedback.
What chad brown doesn't like about Gatsby's Pub Grill:
It was disappointing. My family likes to try new and local places. This was a disaster. I did feel sorry for the server/bartender as they were the only ones, but at the same time, it wasn't that busy. Food was horrible. TVs weren't on or not even showing sports on a Saturday. I'm sure on a Saturday night where all they are doing is slinging beers and pouring shots it's a better time. Just don't eat there. View all feedback.
However, I do have one concern regarding the treatment of our group of 15-year-old boys by the staff and other patrons. We were unaware that, due to state law, minors weren't allowed in the restaurant since it also operates as a bar. We had a group of 16+ teenage boys eager to eat with us. On the first night, they were allowed to stay in a designated area of the restaurant, but they faced issues when they requested water at the bar or accidentally stepped out of their section, which was quite close to the bar area. Additionally, a parent was reprimanded for speaking with her son while they were near the pull-tab machine. On our second night, the group was denied entry altogether around 6 PM. So, on our third night, we opted for takeout instead. Despite these challenges, I want to emphasize that the restaurant's food and the wait staff were truly wonderful.
Alright, Gatbys. I gave it a shot. If you’re from out of town, save yourself the trouble and drive a little further to find somewhere better. I used to be a regular here, but my last visit left a bad taste in my mouth when the kitchen staff cut my pie and ate half a slice. Not a huge deal, so I didn't immediately write the place off. After a few months, I decided to give it another try and went back tonight for some pizza. What I got was a burnt, pathetic excuse for a meal. The bartender tried to convince me it looked good, but I didn't design it to be charcoal. Instead of taking responsibility for the food, they insisted everything was fine. If you want to trust the kitchen with your meal, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
I got really sick after eating her the atmosphere was great I think the food might have been a bit overcooked and I have a very sensitive tummy. However the broccli they make was spot on and I am a ducker for a good vegetable. My group and I came on trivianight and that was fun! I didn't know that was going to be going on and we all had an absolute blast participating. Soatmosphere 10 out of 10 but food is ehhhh.
This is a great sports bar with a solid kitchen that makes tasty meals and snacks. The staff are friendly and attentive. I enjoyed their hot traditional wings, which are prepared in the classic style—good size and served piping hot! The Diablo pasta with shrimp was also impressive; it was a generous portion for the price and packed with flavor.
We walked here from our hotel. It looks like a hole in the wall place to someone not from Indy. We were hungry and had few options. But let me tell you, the onion rings tasted JUST like you want them to taste. Super crispy on the outside and tenderand sweet in the inside. The potato skins were full of cheese and crisp. But the fried mushrooms were THE BEST!! They batterthem there. Not pre-frozen like some. They are so flavorful, crispy, and irresistible! Everything was delicious!!! And thebeers were good too.
