This is a fantastic spot for catching up with a friend over coffee or a light meal. I met a friend for coffee at 10 o’clock, and it was quite peaceful. We were able to have a lot of private conversations. I enjoyed an excellent latte and a delicious croissant. View all feedback.
What Retta Graham doesn't like about Gallery On 16th:
Feel excited about this modern and artistic restaurant coming to Indy. I like the idea of the food: not waffle chicken but croissant chicken. But to be honest, the food is not really so tasty as the pictures. I expected I should get a juicy fried chicken, instead, it was frizzled and dried. My cafe latte was cold and why it looked like someone has already taken a sip? Where was my latte art?Overall, I still gave five... View all feedback.
I visited this place again to celebrate a friend's birthday! We started our celebration with mimosas, but I opted for a simple matcha latte because I love her coffee (and the cute little cups she serves it in). We ordered hummus for the table, which came with fried pita and naan bread. The hummus was incredibly creamy and had the perfect consistency. I chose the croissant and fried chicken sandwich for my meal. This was my first time trying the combination of fried chicken and croissant, and it was delicious! Although the portion looked small, it was quite filling. The croissant had a few slices of pickles inside. I'm not a fan of arugula, but it was drizzled with honey, so I gave it a try anyway. As always, this spot is perfect for brunch with friends or family. The ambiance is lovely and the decor is elegant and chic! There are plenty of free street parking options, which has never been an issue for me during my visits.
It's a nice little spot in old north side. We were surprised at how quickly we were seated. Kitchen is open and we sat at the counter which was a lot of fun to watch the kitchen staff make everything. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because our server wasn't as attentive as we would've preferred. But everything was amazing.
Great local new spot we happened to stumble upon while looking for a brunch spot. On the pricier side but tasty artichoke omelette accompanied by a refreshing arugula salad. I paired it with the pork belly which did not disappoint with texture and flavor. It would have been a perfect breakfast but the coffee was too bitter/ burnt flavor and was lukewarm at best. I got a fresh cup but was still not a fan. On the flip slide the cold brew was strong and tasty. Many pastries/ dessert items to choose from if you are just picking something up. Also want to say that despite service being short with wait staff they did a great job with seating and tending to everyone's needs.
I visited Gallery on the 16th for brunch to celebrate a birthday with 10 friends. I appreciated the open layout and decor of the place, but the acoustics made it a bit challenging to hear each other at times. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I started with a salted mocha latte, which was served in really cute cups. Our server was kind enough to personalize our coffee orders. Additionally, we ordered two Moimosa packages, which included a glass per person along with a hummus plate. The hummus was very light and creamy, accompanied by fresh vegetables. For my brunch, I had the fried chicken sandwich with scrambled eggs, which was rich and delicious. I also enjoyed an arugula salad as a side. We finished our meal with the date cookie, which was delightful. I couldn’t leave without getting some macarons, as they are definitely my favorite treat from Gallery.
