Church's Chicken - Indianapolis

I was disappointed with the restaurant because they served me old chicken that had been sitting out. I usually enjoy their mashed potatoes, but this time the chicken was not safe to eat at all. I was looking forward to my meal but couldn't even eat it properly because the chicken was cold. They need to do better in terms of food safety.

Typically, the food is great at this restaurant, but this time the chicken was overcooked and there was no coleslaw or sweet tea available. It seemed like there were some supply chain issues happening tonight. The staff, however, was still friendly and efficient.

My husband really enjoys the Tuesday special (2 dark pieces for $1.99, if I remember correctly) at this restaurant. It's probably his favorite place for chicken. I personally find it alright, and usually go for the tenders. The biscuits they serve are delicious.

Very friendly staff. And good food that will leave your soul begging for more! KFC, Chic, and Popeyes have their own signature styles, but so does Church's. I will definitely eat here again and suggest you not pass up any opportunity to ear here. One ofthe managers Donna, is very professional and very sweet as well. KFCs chicken (seasonings) does taste better Than Churches But Churches Is a lot better deal. And Churches sides are better too. The big bags of sweet tea are good. I think they should give a person a couple of cups filled with ice for free...but theydidn't, I think they charged me 30 cents each. I'd of gave em 5 stars if they had a new building the one they have now isprobably 50 plus years old,,small order room,,usually a little crowded, no tables no chairs. A tornado hit it a few years backbut instead of re building they just patched it up and opened back up The woman who works there I'm not sure if she's themanager or what? But she's been there for , possibly 20 years She is very helpful , Kind, Courteous , After we got our order wejust drove down to Garfield Park, which is less than 5 mins away , enjoyed our meal there
