1718 The Bates-hendricks Housebar

I would give this place zero stars if I could. We were supposed to host my husband's company Christmas party there last night. The person who took our reservation was in contact with the coordinator until four days ago, and then he completely disappeared. We received no email replies, our calls went unanswered, and none of our voice or text messages were responded to. This left us in a panic as we scrambled to find another venue. Fortunately, we found a fantastic spot right across the street at Bowhouse Tap. They were amazing and very accommodating, even though we called them just two days before our event.

Craving a cocktail? You got it. Looking for craft beer? They have plenty of options. Bringing the kids along? Absolutely! You can grab a sweet hug for your little one or indulge in an “adulthug” for yourself. One of my favorite things is when local Airbnb guests come in and get to experience the essence of our neighborhood, all thanks to 1718 welcoming us to their space every night. Thank you to everyone at 1718 for everything you do. We truly appreciate you!

The service was disappointing. Our server took drink orders for half of our party, and when I arrived a few minutes later, he returned to inform us that the order was in but then walked away without taking the rest of the group’s orders. We had to call him back. He brought our drinks back quickly, but it took him 15 minutes to deliver the first food order. Furthermore, my husband's drink was incorrect. Given our lack of confidence that the rest of our order would be right, we decided to eat elsewhere. When we received our bill, we found we had been overcharged by $8. I was really disappointed since we brought out-of-town friends with us because we genuinely enjoy this place.

Ventured out to 1718 Bates Hendricks House for a evening on the patio. This place has a perfect neighborhood bar vibe. The food must be amazing because they were out of just about everything. Our waitress had to have us reorder 3 times because theywere out . I ended up with a Toasty (grilled cheese) very hardy perfect for a heavy night of drinking. The patio was great! Lots of picnic tables but little atmosphere . I think it 's fairly new and will be great once they add maybe a fire pit orsome greenery. They have a wide variet of local spirits including west fork whiskey and lots of local beers on tap. So cheers!

Love this place a lot!!! I like how it looks like a house reminds me a lot of the bars on Rainey Street in Austin Texas? really cool stuff going on inside as well!!! The manager Whit was the coolest real good energy and pretty funny as well might just bean Aries ?? thing lol? but I started off with a iced cold BEER Stella to be exact? and Whit had whipped up something called apeach tea and it was pretty good as well!! Then I ordered the Turkey Bacon Cheddar Melt sandwich on locally made Amelia?s bread?but I subbed the cheddar out for pepper jack and I also had a cup of their chili and that cup of chili could of been it?s ownmeal really good flavor it just goes super well with the crispy toasted sandwich bread and the hot turkey and bacon and cheese Ialso ordered a cup of the green beans ham and potatoes soup as well too and it was super good as well I highly recommend this toeveryone especially for people that are looking for a really awesome hot sandwich great chili and great staff this is this placethey also have outdoor seating with heaters out there as well I will be back with friends!!
