I sat outside, and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I ordered the tomato salad, birria quesadillas, and flourless chocolate cake. The tomato salad was surprising; the apple paired nicely with the tomato and the sauce it was tossed in brought a little saltiness to complement the sweetness of the fruit. The quesadillas were perfectly crunchy on outside, with seasoned and tender meat on the inside. I didn’t enjoy the chocolate cake as much as the other dishes, but found the top layer really nice. I would come back for sure next time I’m in Indy!

Cocktail list is huge wi... read more Overall great experience at Bluebeard. Was seated immediately on a Thursday evening, which is great since they don’t take reservations. Cocktail list is huge with non alcoholic options. My husband and I shared charcuterie, mussels and ribeye entree- all outstanding. Menu changes daily, we’ll be sure to come back.

They get all the little things right, for example: Giving you a big bowl of crostini with your charcuterie instead of the usual few slices, being thoughtful about wine and beer pairings, using fresh pasta for your spaghetti and making sure the egg yolk on top is not cold. It sounds tiny, but is the difference between good and great. Food: 5

Difficult to choose the menu items because the... read more Probably should get 5 stars across the board. My fault for making my 1st visit on an extremely busy Friday night. Difficult to choose the menu items because they all sound delicious. We were probably a server nightmare with 100 questions and she was slammed. I would definitely pair my choices differently next visit. We definitely got a good sampling of a variety of items. Suggest getting there early because some of the best items were sold out. Will no doubt be returning sooner rather than later :
