The food was excellent and the staff made sure we were very comfortable and enjoying the stay. They even picked us up by car from another island instead of waiting for the bus for a long time, and sent us off by car as well to the place where we picked up our rental bicycles. I would go there again if I am in this area.

I checked in for the night after my 7h bike ride along the shimanami kaido trail and this place was exactly what I needed to rest my tired feet. The bedroom was traditional (with tatami beds but still had A/C and other modern amenities such as private Japanese toilet, shower tub, shampoo, towel etc. Dinner and breakfast were included in our stay and both meals were feasts. Dinner offered fresh fish cooked many ways (sashimi, cooked in miso sauce and grilled , vegetables soup (amazing!! and lemon sherbet (yum! for dessert. Breakfast was also delicious; perfect amount of carbs protein to start another day of biking. The hosts were helpful, warm and courteous even tho they didn’t speak much English.

I reached by bicycle in the rain. Please warmly welcome the wet areas of the whole body. We were able to refresh our hearts with fresh and delicious meals. It was fun to decorate seasonal flowers, there were origami and crafts, and handmade ideas. The haiku is written on the laying paper at the time of the meal, and if you ask, it is said that you can write one by hand. The phrases of our situation were chosen for the day. We dries wet rain gear and shoes, and we were able to leave the next day. I want to visit again. Thank you very much!
