This is exactly what a pub should be: cozy, intimate, and filled with locals. The staff is attentive, always welcoming, and friendly. It can get a bit loud when it's busy, but that just adds to the atmosphere. Picture this: pouring rain outside and a lively pub inside. This is the experience you’re seeking!

After transferring my meal from theirs, I had to ask for the avocado and soy sauce, which were missing. Even worse, the tuna's texture was oddly buttery—fresh tuna shouldn't be like that—but the flavor was passable. The vegetable tempura featured one piece of broccoli, one mushroom, a single slice of what I think was sweet potato, and about four slices of red or orange peppers, all heavily battered, reminiscent of corn dog batter from a fair. I've had many wonderful meals at Salt before, but I would not recommend their sushi night. Instead, I suggest trying the burger!

I had an excellent dining experience! I ordered the lamb shepherd's pie, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband tried the glazed salmon, while my mother-in-law had the open-faced tuna melt, which she also found delightful. The restaurant had an eclectic vibe, and it offered a lovely view of the ocean. Our server was friendly and seated us promptly, but it did take a little while for her to come back to take our drink orders, though she was very pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience!
