What User doesn't like about The Boatshed Cafe:
Thought we would try because the menu and reviews sounded amazing. Arrived at 11:30 to beat the lunchtime rush but 80% of tables had reserved signs for 12:30pm. We thought we would sit at one of the tables and leave within an hour so the table was free again. 40 minutes until our burgers came so we requested to take away instead. The atmosphere is beautiful and perfect for a relaxed dining experience, and the sushi dishes are excellent.
This dining experience started off well with quick seating and friendly service from a young blonde woman. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement, such as their COVID safety measures. They had a QR code but did not check for vaccination status, and the person in charge was not wearing a mask. Additionally, I had difficulty with the menu as I do not like tomatoes, eggs, or mushrooms, which limited my options. Despite this, the manager was very helpful in selecting dishes for me to enjoy. The food was delicious and they offered a tasty hot chocolate with marshmallows. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed a beautiful evening meal on the deck outside at sunset. Fantastic location with great food and service.
