This is an amazing vegetarian restaurant with a wonderfully warm and friendly staff. It's called Sunflower Restaurant and offers a variety of options for both lunch and coffee. We visited during dinner hours and were pleasantly surprised to find it quite busy, which we hadn't expected in Ilfracombe. The soup and salad were fantastic, and the main course was delightful. A nice little caffe with a large milk-free selection of hot and cold foods. the selection of toppings for hunting, paninis and baguettes. the caramel cake was delicious! and the little ducks from the back are enchanting. highly recommended!

Consistently good and reasonably priced, Grassroots Vegetarian Cafe is the only healthy food kitchen for miles. Unfortunately, Ilfracombe probably won't ever lose its greasy spoon culture, nor its very short working hours habits.
