The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice and the people were incredibly friendly we had fun.

Really good varied menu, including frog legs (ugh . asparagus season, so they offer this done in the usual style for white asparagus, with a Hollandaise sauce.... read more Really good varied menu, including frog legs (ugh . asparagus season, so they offer this done in the usual style for white asparagus, with a Hollandaise sauce. Most restaurants may offer ham or a carving with him, here I noticed that they offer at least ten different things. We had pig dogs Escalopes, made for perfection, and with a super dark jus, a mixture of large vegetables, mostly green asparagus, but also with a snake of spinach, a beautiful Hollandaise and pancake stripes. (A regional specialty, usually I hate her because I was chewing and clau, who were amazing here, almost like Omelette. The desert was simple ice and strawberries with some egg liqueurs, but instead of the usual out--- one-packet wafers, we were treated with a beautiful crisp Brandy Snap Biscuit. One of the best meals for age and certainly the best here in yours. Service was efficient and friendly, restaurant was pleasant and quite rustic instead of elegant. Not cheap, but very good value for the quality of food and wine. This was our second visit here and will not be our last.

This is apparently a favorite spot for our friends. The food was outstanding, as was the service, and they treated the youngster very well indeed. We had a...fine local white wine appropriae for the KaiserStuhl.
