Pretentious place if there ever was one. They make a fool of themselves by explaining the dishes to you and then offering very small portions (especially for what they usually do in the area), average quality and an exorbitant price. The place does not correspond to the price and the bathrooms even less so. You just have to look at the owner's responses to the negative reviews, you couldn't be more arrogant. I recommend visiting the area because it is very beautiful, but take a sandwich because there is nowhere to eat properly. We took the menu from the Bierzo gastronomic days. Everything was spectacular. We loved the mix of traditional local products with an innovative way of cooking and presenting them. Especially its representation of the Bierzo empanada or its version of the Botillo. The grilled fish (corvina) was also delicious. And the texture and flavor of cheesecake with ice cream was delightful. To sum up, everything was great with very friendly and familiar treatment. Exceptional. We were warned that the tasting menu was a delight...and they fell short. Exquisite attention, kindness, a child who came out happy and who spoke with the chef about how he had enjoyed his meal. Hidden town in the mountains where you don't expect this wonder. In any provincial capital, that tasting menu costs twice as much and it is appreciated to offer a service like this in such a special place. We will return. Excellent, both the treatment of the staff and the tasting menu. We'll have to try the rest of the menu again. The trip to Ig¼e±a is well worth it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¬3040 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Langostinos Crujientes
