The quality and preparation of its food is exceptional, and Pablo Arias, its chef, prepares signature cuisine that raises the gastronomic level of the region. On my last visit, we tried the grilled lamb (very tasty , Iberian presa (perfect and some crazy Iberian meatballs (the one I liked the most . Cecina croquettes (the best I've ever tried , zamburiñas (tastier than in Galicia, where I came from that day . And what about the desserts, look at the photos of the custard that I upload to this review, I don't remember what the foam was since I lost consciousness of how good they were : . The service is also top notch. The staff is very professional and attentive, and is always willing to recommend dishes and pairings. By the way, the selection of wines was very good, we ordered a Pago de Carrovejas which is not easy to find around here. In short, the Aníbal restaurant is an excellent option to enjoy a unique gastronomic experience in Bierzo. Below, I detail some of the aspects that I liked the most about the restaurant: The quality of the products: Fresh and seasonal products, of the best quality. This is noticeable in the flavor and texture of the dishes. Many of the dishes, such as lamb, take hours to prepare. The place does not correspond to the price and the bathrooms even less so. You just have to look at the owner's responses to the negative reviews, you couldn't be more arrogant.
