Sky Ute delivers a polished casino-hotel experience with clean, quiet rooms, accommodating staff and a lively gaming floor. Guests praise the indoor pool and hot tub (pool depth ~3.5 ft), solid food, a pleasant coffee shop and campground with full RV hookups. Small maintenance and staffing hiccups were noted — a broken toilet handle, limited campground showers and continued COVID-era restroom measures — but overall it’s family- and event-friendly and worth a return visit.

Went for a motorcycle gathering and a Ride like a Pro class...played a little of the slots and Blackjack, probably broke even all said...very clean place, the food was cold, but it still worked. This place is still very Covid conscious, just meaning they still have staff masked and sanitizers all over..every other stall and urinal was closed and the air hand dryers were disabled..THAT was weird.
We attended a work-related party at this venue and it was an excellent experience! The rooms were well-maintained and clean. The bathrooms were roomy, featuring both a walk-in shower and a bathtub. The pool was enjoyable, although it has a uniform depth of just 3.5 feet, making it perfect for our kids! The casino was stunning and offered a variety of games to try. The food served during our party was delicious, though we didn't stop by the bar later to sample anything else. I would definitely come back!
Very enjoyed our stay at Sky Ute. The room was 5 stars! Very clean and quiet. The service at the reception was efficient and friendly. I have to convince the lady in the coffee shop that she was so nice and patient. A great latte. We'll stay here when we get back to the Durango area.
Great place to stay- has both a campground and rooms. I did not stay in the hotel, but my friends were very impressed with the rooms. The campground has full hookups and is very clean with a friendly camp host- each site is supplied with a cement pad (mostly level) , a picnic table (it is not moveable), and a charcoal grill. The camping area is a short walk to the pool, laundry and bathrooms- only 1 shower but it is not really designed to be a “bathhouse”. Nice pool- it is indoors and you can tell it is a bit older. All the staff is extremely helpful and friendly- there is a little shortage of workers, but those there were very friendly. The casino was a lot of fun, didn’t win- but gave it a good effort. I will be returning next year!
We had a fantastic time here on Super Bowl Sunday. The casino is quite nice, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The slot machines were paying out well—I even won a $50 jackpot! The food was excellent as well. I would definitely return.
