Etant amateur de l'enseigne Georges Blanc depuis notre venue à Vonnas, nous avions à cœur d'essayer le château d'igé et son restaurant dans la véranda.Concernan... read more Etant amateur de l'enseigne Georges Blanc depuis notre venue à Vonnas, nous avions à cœur d'essayer le château d'igé et son restaurant dans la véranda.Concernant l'hôtel, il est agréable de dormir dans ce château avec des décorations d'époque mais le prix de la chambre est bien trop excessif. Le jardin est vraiment charmant et calme, et la nouvelle piscine est une belle valeur ajoutée. Concernant le restaurant, le service n'est pas digne d'un tel établissement et les plats beaucoup trop banals. Bien que conscient d'avoir choisi la partie bistrot, celle-ci est bien moins charmante que celle de Vonnas. Ne soyons quand même pas trop sévère étant donné que l'établissement vient à peine de réouvrir ses portes mais tout cela etait quand même décevant.

Beware this place is closed. We called and made a booking. We followed the direction to this hotel. We arrived at eight pm to find an abandoned building. It tur... read more Beware this place is closed. We called and made a booking. We followed the direction to this hotel. We arrived at eight pm to find an abandoned building. It turns out the number we called actually rings in a different hotel by the same owner that is 25 min away. We discovered that when we called the number again. The funny thing is that they said this happens all the time. I don’t know why they don’t make sure to explain to people that they are not making a reservation at the chateau.
