Cardamom is the hidden treasure of Idaho Falls. It is fine dining but not fine dining prices. They have a brillant chef who creates dishes that are out of this world. My adult children told me I had to try the icecream. I now have a new craving. You have to try the cardamom icecream. Meat was well cooked, rice was over cooked.Flavors were mostly very mild , tandoori chicken was the best.Naan was OK. Different texture than typical, garlic naan was salty.Very small portions, tandoori chicken came with 2 pieces of chicken....Probably won't go back.Desert balls were tasty, but again very mildly seasoned. Great atmosphere, absolutely fantastic food, and the reason we continue as regulars is the outstanding customer service. This restaurant is my go-to for Indian food. Shari is usually our waitress and she is absolutely incredible. The owner usually greets us which makes the experience feel genuine. I’d eat here every day if I could. The butter chicken dish is to die for!
We loved the service and food was amazing. The menu is limited, but it has a taste of everything you would want from an Indian restaurant. There are Vegetarian options, some Indian drinks, and the dishes you'd expect to see. The naan is delicious. Decor and atmosphere are lacking, but the restaurant is clean.

What a pleasant experience. Enjoyed a delightful dinner, professionally served, which makes all the difference in the world. Recommend the Onion Bhaiji appetizer. So good. Hope to travel back this way again soon.
My boyfriend and I are passing through and stopped by for food. It was very good! He usually eats pizza and chicken tenders and he enjoyed it!
