Martha's Kitchen - Ibadan
Martha's Kitchen
Description
Martha’s Kitchen in Ibadan offers a stylish, serene dining experience ideal for dates, family dinners, and special occasions. The vibrant menu—home-cooked Nigerian classics and continental dishes—is freshly prepared and often theatrically presented (sizzling beef platters). Attentive, friendly staff, warm service and kid-friendly options complement soothing lighting and careful table settings. Expect limited seating and potential hour-long waits, so reservations or preorders are advised; combination meals can be pricier, but most visitors find the food and atmosphere well worth it.

If you're searching for a stylish and elegant place in Ibadan, Martha's Kitchen is the perfect choice. It's an ideal spot for dinner and date nights in Jericho, and you’ll be pleased you visited. The atmosphere is soothing and tranquil. I appreciate the table settings, the lighting fixtures, the dipping sauce for my spring rolls, and the way “Martha” is embroidered on the uniforms.
The restaurant offers a warm and tranquil atmosphere for dining. The staff is attentive and welcoming, though there may be a wait for the food to be prepared; however, you do have the option to preorder. The dishes are incredibly delicious and truly impressive. While there are great combination meals available, they can be on the pricier side.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere is enjoyable, and the food is delicious. My kids loved their smoothies and rice, and the chips were really tasty as well. The security staff was very friendly. I can’t wait to go back again!
Martha's kitchen always provides a satisfying dining experience. Service is better when you make a reservation with the staff ahead of time. The environment is pleasant, and it is conveniently located. Because the room is limited, I strongly advise phoning ahead, especially during holidays and on Sundays. Their cuisine is prepared to order, so you can always expect it to be really fresh. They have a diverse cuisine at reasonable pricing. The coleslaw and jollof rice cooked in house are excellent. Their continental meals, such Afang and Edikaikong, are near-perfect, and the stew??? Stir fry with fire. Please try their little chops as an appetiser; it's 10 10 minus nothing. On my last visit, I had poundo and edikaikong. I had to order proteins separately. It cost 7,850. Staff are also polite, however they are rarely present in the dining hall.Overall, 7/10.
