Standard Indian takeaway with a very wide selection on menu. Food was substantial and what we expected no frills. What you order is what you get we’re used to some salad or poppadums being thrown in for free but not today. Could see them cooking and seemed very clean and hygienic. Quick service (perhaps a bit too quick but they were very busy). Good value. Four stars because it was as expected but nothing special. View all feedback.

read moreAkash, once a beloved Indian takeaway, now faces escalating dissatisfaction among regular patrons. Long-time customers lament the decline in food quality, often describing meals as frozen rather than fresh, despite unchanged pricing. Recent experiences highlight issues such as incorrect billing, dismissive customer service, and overly spicy dishes that stray from familiarity. While some reviews praise the restaurant for its standard offerings and cleanliness, others suggest a loss of personal touch and warmth. Overall, Akash is at a crossroads, leaving loyal customers disheartened and seeking new dining experiences amidst an evolving culinary landscape.
