I went for breakfast. I really enjoyed the 2 eggs breakfast with black beans, plantains with sour cream, avocado and tortillas. I also got chicken tamales. The food was fresh and tasted very delicious. The tortillas were homemade and made at the moment, which made my breakfast even better! The tamales had very good flavor and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I also had a cup of coffee and it was hot and fresh! The l... View all feedback.
The food was great, but the atmosphere left much to be desired. Throughout our meal, a smoke detector was chirping due to a dying battery, and it seemed like the staff didn't take notice or didn't care. The constant noise was incredibly distracting, and eventually, we decided to leave. I hope they've resolved the issue by now (or that the battery has finally died), so you might not have to deal with that during your visit.
As soon as you step into this restaurant, the waitstaff set a friendly tone that makes you feel right at home. They're incredibly welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a casual hangout with friends or a romantic date. The food is outstanding, crafted by a skilled chef, and the prices are quite fair. The service is equally commendable. I highly recommend this place!
The food was amazing! Unfortunately, the service and ambiance were lacking. We waited about 5 to 10 minutes for the server to acknowledge us, despite there being only two other customers in the restaurant. Additionally, the furniture could use an upgrade; I ended up sitting on a bench with a rag taped to it, which I assume was meant to prevent injuries.
I visited for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the two-egg breakfast that came with black beans, plantains topped with sour cream, avocado, and tortillas. I also tried the chicken tamales, and everything was fresh and incredibly delicious. The tortillas were homemade and made to order, which truly elevated my breakfast experience! The tamales were flavorful, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. I also had a cup of coffee, which was hot and fresh. The dining area is a bit small, but I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for a traditional Salvadoran dish.
