Chicken Rico - Hyattsville

I am a regular customer and had the worst customer service experience today. I bought 2 family combos this was a takeout order) and they didn't want to provide plates. The cashier was super rude and said I had to pay extra for plates. I spent an average of $80 on all this food and they treated me like I wanted to steal some plates from them. Not buying here anymore, not willing to spend my money on cheap fast foods. I shop at this location regularly and had a very unpleasant experience with the staff today. I bought two family combos and when I went to pay the cashier did not want to provide me with dishes. He told me that I had to pay extra for them. I made a purchase for around $80 and in addition to that he wanted me to pay for the dishes that they are supposed to provide. Hello, good evening. I have been a customer of this restaurant for many years, but today, August 15th, 2023, I had a disappointing experience. The cashier working at 7 PM was quite rude and showed a lack of empathy. When I inquired about my order—for the family combo #2—he responded in an annoyed manner when I questioned why I was being charged $71.50. He mentioned it was because I paid by card, which isn't an issue for me. However, I believe they should train him on how to properly treat customers. He spoke to me in a harsh tone, even in front of other patrons. Service: Takeout; Meal type: Dinner; Price per person: $50–100.

I arrived half an hour before closing, and the woman at the counter didn't respond to me because she was on the phone. The service was very poor. Meal type: Other Service rating: 1.
