Mr Chao BBQ - Hurstville

So impressed by this restaurant. at a random entry to lunch I ordered the soy chicken with rice lunch especially and was really pleasantly surprised. first the free suppe was delicious sweet, fresh and light and then the lunch came out. the chicken leg was boned, freshly steamed choy, pickled vegetables, ginger-palm sauce and hainan rice were perfect. I would be proud to have made this court myself! had a gamble and it paid definitiw. I'll be back soon.

So impressed by this restaurant.  On a random walk-in for lunch I ordered the soya chicken with rice lunch special and was really pleasantly surprised.  Firstly the complimentary soup was deliciously sweet, fresh and light and then the lunch came out.  The chicken thigh had been deboned, fresh steamed choy, pickled vegetables, ginger shallot sauce and hainan rice were perfect.  I would be proud to have made this dish myself!  Took a gamble and it definitely paid off.  I'll be back for more soon

They claim to be an award winner with the Sydney Morning Herald.....not sure for what. If you can give this place a miss I sure would.
