I live locally and when meet fresh opened in my area over a year ago I was so happy because this meant I no longer needed to go to the city store to have my favorite dessert. Simple, sweet and cheap, Meet Fresh offers everything that you could ever want in post-dinner palate cleansers or dessert, for whatever occasion. Meet Fresh may not have much seating but it is slightly more spacious and cheaper than the other dessert options in Hurstville, such as Diamond Cafe. The service is generally in Chinese, staff may not be the most adept at understanding and using English and staff are pretty useless in terms of explaining what things are or recommending things. However, most of this is not an issue as anything is good and ordering or the entire experience can be as simple as point at something on the menu on the counter and paying. As for the dessert itself, it too is simple enough that it leaves little room for comment. Most of the issues about Meet Fresh can be overlooked. Meet fresh is a perfect place to visit on a hot summers day and that's exactly what we did today. We ordered their Taro Ball series dessert and the herbal jelly dessert. They were both extremely refreshing however it was really filling!
I had been to Meet Fresh once and never came back for a proper sit down meal. When it had first opened increasingly large numbers of people came so I decided to try out the desserts there. I wasn't fully pleased with it when I tried as I could taste nothing but ice. My sister ordered the herbal jelly dessert and in my opinion was extremely sweet. On a happier note I only come here to order the taro milk tea drinks and other milk teas. Although overall in my opinion, meet fresh isn't the best ideal dessert place for me.
Delicious Taiwanese desserts and drinks that's cheap and addictive. Our favourite is the herbal jelly with red bean, peanuts and pearls. Service is quick and efficient and their mango pudding drink is pretty damn good
Ive been there couple of times for late night dessert. Taiwanese style dessert with fresh taste. The shaved ice cream was cool as fresh, but not too sweet, which is good. The traditional bowls with herb jelly is refreshing, perfect for summer. Also, there are warm desserts available in winter. * cash and cards
