Love coming here each week, as they have an a la carte menu as well as a sushi train. Must trys are the salmon aburi and the mini curry set is great for a small tasting plate; so you can try everything else on the train! Staff are always very friendly and if you're waiting for your meal to come out, you can always have a sushi train plate as a quick bite whilst you wait. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Manmaruya:
Manmaruya specialises in Japanese ramen. There are different flavours of ramen to choose from, including vegan options. You can even mix and match the ramen with bento box. I think the rice meals, aka bento box, and rice bowls (don) taste good. They are affordable...but not top quality. Manmaruya used to have a sushi bar pre-covid with basic sushi dishes View all feedback.
This was one of the best Japanese restaurants I have been to in Sydney. The service was quick, the staff was welcoming, and the prices were reasonable. The portions were generous and although I'm not a fan of takoyaki, everything else on the menu was delicious.
Manmaruya is a restaurant that specializes in Japanese ramen. They offer a variety of flavors to choose from, including vegan options. They also offer Bento boxes that can be mixed and matched with the ramen. I enjoyed the taste of the rice flour dishes, the Aka-Bogen box, and the rice bowls (don). The prices are affordable, but the quality is not top-notch. Additionally, Manmaruya used to have a sushi bar at the front that served basic sushi dishes.
The lunchtime appearance initially seemed promising, with some tasty edamame and a lively atmosphere (although not upscale), but then the dishes disappointed me. The soup was bland, the appetizers lacked flavor, and the sushi seemed like it came from a freezer. The ramen was overpriced at $11 and not worth it, but the sushi lunches seemed decent. The service was inconsistent and the restaurant was quite dirty.
I love this place. now have been a few times and is always on the mark. love the chicken catsu curry and sushi is ingenious
Me and my partner excited to try this place. Service was great and always try to help. The waitress however, not very knowledgable about their menu. We have Ramen Bento. The portion was generous, but a lot more than we expected. We also tried...the special drink on the wall Yuzu it said. It was the horrible (taste like fake lemon). The Ramen do feel a little watery as mentioned on other review. Althought we havent tried the sushi train, it makes us wonder whether it is worth it to return.
