The Rising Sun - Hurley

We had a great dining experience! We brought our two daughters, aged 5 and 2, and they both enjoyed the children's menu as well. The staff was very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. If the service were a bit faster, we would definitely return soon for another visit!

We ordered two children's meals and were charged for two fruit sauces that should have been included. Additionally, the pudding that was meant to come with the meals was missing, and we didn't realize it until we got home! However, the friendly manager was very helpful in addressing our main concerns and even refunded the service fee and drinks, for which we are grateful. Spending £60 for two chicken burgers and two children's chicken and chips with four drinks felt excessive. I hope that other customers are aware of these changes when they visit. While we plan to continue stopping by after our walks, as we have been doing for years, I'm doubtful that we'll dine there again.

The restaurant offers a great selection of dishes, including pizza, curry, and burgers. The Indian dish was a standout, and my vegan wife and daughter really enjoyed theirs. My burger was so satisfying that it kept me full for the rest of the day. However, I did receive some spam notifications after accessing the menu online.

Charming pub, dogs welcome. beautiful outside surface. good burger and chicken ktikka salat. friendly staff. in the picturesque village hurley at the river makes for beautiful walks.
