I really like gyros so, after a recommendation, decided to come here for lunch while I was in Huntsville on a business trip. There's no better way to describe it other than Arby's has a better gyro. Got the big papa after I asked the counter staff what was good, along with their fries. Presentation was great, the gyro looked full, and plenty of food in the pita. They have excellent food, and the staff are very friendly!
I always enjoy dining here. You can't go wrong with the gyro and baklava. I tried the falafel for the first time, and it was delicious!
The food is amazing! I really love this place. The only downside is that they need to update their menu on Uber Eats and other delivery apps, as the drivers often get the orders wrong.
Very tasty. I got the chicken gyro(it was ground chicken in strips though, not the chopped up breast meat from the spit I expected) and husband got the big papa gyro. He said it was the closest thing to a real Greek gyro he has had since returning from Greece. Only thing I noticed besides the odd chicken was the fries come separately on the side instead of inside the gyro as they should. Will most likely return.
We visited this restaurant during our trip to town, and it has become our new favorite spot for Greek cuisine! The staff is incredibly friendly, the portions are ample, and the food is absolutely delicious. We couldn't ask for more! Thank you, Big Papa Gyro. We'll definitely return the next time we're in Huntsville.
