We have been coming to the Clubhouse for many years. We were very disappointed when it closed for a number of months but since re-opening it has returned to its level of excellence. It is a much more low key, high end steakhouse that is a lot more comfortable and friendly to dine at. View all feedback.
What We C doesn't like about Clubhouse:
We been going here for several years- was always very good. Than they closed due to some IRS/ tax reason( notes posted all over the outside) when they reopened,we came back to support them. With that all said, the meal was just not good. First, the service was outstanding, the Caesar salad was good, served on a cold plate as it should be-bring on the steaks!!!! And... terrible. Terrible terrible!!! We had 20 reservations. We're there early at 7:30 and said we'd be happy to go to the bar for a 1/2 hour. There were a few in the bar eating at the bar. Nobody else was there. At 8:00, I let them know we were ready to sit. the owner said, "Give me 5 minutes I'll let you sit. Quickly forward 1/2 hour later wait at 8:30 in the hour now. The bar area filled as well as the tables in the bar area for those without reservation. At once, two other couples sat. A couple that just came in. Apparently, they knew the waiter who had accumulated them directly. I spoke to the then host (the owner disappeared. They're ready to sit another couple when I asked what's going on. They told me they didn't know. I had reminded this person that we had expected above all and that we had a reservation. He sat the other couple and continued to apologize and said it wasn't much longer. I asked for the owner. I was told he wasn't there anymore. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I remembered that this place was revitalized and went out of business a few months earlier and just again with new “money”. There was a good reason why they had failed before and I am more than sure they will fail again. They offered us nothing. No attempt and no excuse to put us. Bad business. An unfortunate customer will tell people 10 times more of his bad experience than a happy customer. I'm just beginning!!!
The service was a little slow on Saturday night. The food was also a bit cold. But Club House is one of my favorite restaurants.... will be back soon.
I understand you were short handed, that would account for the service, needs improvement. The food was outstanding. we have been going to the clubhouse for over 25 yrs.
So glad they have reopened. Food as usual was excellent.
Terrible. Worst dining experience ever. Upon arrival we were told the place was out of porterhouse and by strip steaks. How is it possible for a steakhouse to be out of popular steaks at 8pm? In addition, the credit card machine wasn’t working. Regarding the food, the ribeye steak was bland.
