Ikeda Japanese Dining

I hate to recommend this place because it's perfect and our go to! Just enjoy the masterpieces they make for you and realize there are multiple rolls that are not featured on the menu, you just need to learn them. Our go to! The staff is amazing, caring, and all about your experience. Other reason it's my go to.

Restaurant tucked away behind the Starbucks drive thru. I was able to phone in my order and pick up within 15 minutes. I stopped in around 2:30PM for a late lunch and only a couple of tables were taken, so it's a good time to avoid the crowd. I ordered the Orange Roll, which is a shrimp tempura roll topped with salmon. Since I got my order to go, the spicy mayo and eel sauce were packed in a small cup. I also got the Cherry Blossom Roll, which was a spicy tuna roll topped with tuna, green onion, and masago. Personally, I loved the Orange Roll the best! When I picked up my order I was pleasantly surprised to get the BOGO 50% off deal, they automatically gave me the discount. Yummy lunch and a great deal, can't go wrong!

I've figured out the perfect Sunday routine: getting a car wash at Russell Fischer followed by sushi at Ikeda. This cozy sushi spot offers all of your favorite signature rolls alongside some unique specialty options. They even have an amazing lunch special that includes their renowned bento boxes! I ordered the baked salmon roll and a side of garlic edamame. The salmon roll was simply exquisite—delicious with just the right amount of spicy mayo and eel sauce. The edamame made for a fantastic starter, and I highly recommend it to begin any meal. In the past, I've also ordered a bento box from Ikeda for delivery, and I absolutely love their chicken karaage and the steaming hot gyoza!

Food was great, I tried the HB Roll and I would 100% recommend it to others. The service was also good although they forgot to give us a few things we asked for but they were very busy so I guess that's why but overall they were nice and good service, The decoration and outdoors is really nice I love this place. Go try it out sometime.

My husband is a devoted sushi lover, and he's tried countless places, but none compare to the excellence here in Huntington Beach. Our go-to set includes the King Kong roll, Yuzy lemon, Washington, super Philly, and red dragon. We appreciate how you make such delicious sushi affordable, allowing us to indulge more often. You truly are the best!
