Every cake and bake is made fresh on-site, complemented by daily deliveries of fresh bread and rolls to ensure you always enjoy the finest flavors. Our warm and inviting atmosphere makes The Windmill Bakery the perfect place to relax and savor delicious homemade fare. We are open Monday to Friday from 8am until 3:45pm, Saturdays from 8am to 3pm, and available at Ramsey Market on Saturdays from 8am until 2pm. Please note we are closed on bank holiday Mondays. We used to visit this restaurant every weekday (6 of us builders), but in the past few months the lady with pink hair has become very rude. Because of this, we have decided to start going to the other bakery down the road instead.
I stopped by this restaurant to grab a coffee to take home, and couldn't resist trying one of their delicious looking cornflake cakes. The coffee was excellent and the cake tasted homemade, it was also large and satisfying. A great value for the money, I was very pleased with my choice.
Office birthdays are greatly improved when cakes are purchased from The Windmill. The Danish pastries are huge and worth every penny. The variety is excellent and the prices are very fair. The same can be said for their sandwiches.
So glad that this bakery is still here, it goes since I was a child and still does such beautiful cakes and the best hot cruciballs! keep them the good work all, it is worth getting immersed and having their lunch, they love the fact that it is old. school ramsey.
