we came to find the table not booked, thanks to the e-mail reservation, the young lady has fortunately sitting and apologised for the mix up, service was good, eating was good, we tend to meet here, because it is halfway between our house and daughter house so grateful we still have a table and enjoyed our pre-Xmas together, so thank you so that they are ready to help the View all feedback.
What Jason E doesn't like about Frankie And Benny's:
I don't understand why this place has such high ratings. The food is terrible, like really, really bad. It's not just uninspired or inconsistent, it's consistently awful. The loud music and poor building design create a terrible echo that is only made worse by the numerous birthday groups celebrating. Every 5 minutes, your meal is interrupted by even louder music for another birthday. It's great for the person celebr... View all feedback.
Food was delicious, I had the laughs. the service was great, thanks to the young man who served us with a smile, he is a great talk partner. would recommend. x
We always make a point to visit Frankie & Benny's for birthdays and special occasions. We usually end up ordering a steak, which is always delicious. The food is surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. The service can be hit or miss, but generally it's good. Parking can be a bit limited, but we've never had trouble finding a spot. It's a popular spot for parties, so it can get loud. We'll definitely be back for our next birthday celebration.
Not a fan. The food here is bland and unimaginative. We used to eat here while waiting for films to start. Never really liked it, but they used to have a bacon and avocado salad that was ok. That's gone now. The atmosphere is loud and chaotic, they play this horrible song whenever it's someone's birthday. This wouldn't be that bad except everyone brings their kids there for birthdays, so the song blares out every half an hour or so. It's mind numbing. They appear to be aiming for Italian American themed food, but are falling desperately short. Maybe had Chef Boyardee opened a chain restaurant, this is what it would be. In short, if you like the food at Chuck E Cheese, but are put off by animatronics, this place is for you.
This is an American/Italian restaurant. Being an American, I can tell you this isn 't anything like an American restaurant. That being said, the food is pretty good and one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I find this place to be way better for lunch than it is for dinner. Their lunch menu is decently priced and they offer free refills on soda. The dinner menu is too pricey for what you get. The portion sizes are small and I don 't understand why they have free refills at lunch, but not at dinner. The service is hit or miss. We have had great servers, but we have also had awful servers. The place is however always crowded, so it must be doing something right.
This restaurant is situated amongst various other restaurants and also the cinema and gym. The food is great, with a kids menu for the little ones. They host kids birthday parties, but if you just want to eat from the menu (ie for an adults party) the staff are so kind that they will bring out a cake you bring after your meal. You can also pop in just for a drink after watching a film or just for an evening out
