What MarkR doesn't like about The White Hart:
This was our second time at Tudors and whilst the food was a good as ever, the service was quite slow. We waited nearly 45 minutes for our food, and there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant, who had already been served before we arrived, so not sure why the food took so long to prepare. Nevertheless, the waiter was polite and the food portions were very generous. View all feedback.
Default back to this pub when in the area and never got disappointed. The food is great and the chef is often seen looking at people enjoying his work. For me a sign of care. Portion are generous and priced well. Staff rotates is young and friendly. Landlord is polite and welcoming. Overall I really enjoy every aspect of this pub so highly recommend it.

Attended a wedding reception at the White Hart. Was the highlight of the day. Great drinks, lovely and efficient service, and amazing food.
Underwhelming. Food was tasteless. Took over half an hour for food to arrive.
Cracking olde worlde foody pub. Really lovely staff. Perfect lunch stop between Newcastle and the Channel tunnel.
