I was really impressed with this branch of Prezzo when I haven't previously been that infused at other branches. Our waitress Stacey was absolutely lovely and gave us the warmest welcome. She showed us to our seats and gave us a few minutes to chat before coming back to take our order. She made EXCELLENT cocktail recommendations and kept them flowing all night! What User doesn't like about Prezzo:
Really disappointed tonight. We booked online via their website but when we arrived they did not have the reservation on record. Luckily for us it seems we were given another party’s table who then arrived later and understandably walked off in disgust. View all feedback.
Fairly quiet on a Sunday afternoon but we were given tremendous service with regular visits to check everything was ok or needed extra drinks etc. Always a fan of being offered a jug of water unprompted too. Arancini was really tasty and the bruschetta being on a pizza dough was an interesting twist. Wouldn’t normally think of burgers at an Italian but it was comparable to any of the usual burger chains. Ricotta and butternut ravioli was really tasty and the pork fennel ragu ticked the al forno boxes. Biscoff cheesecake was fantastic though it’s cheating a little by serving banana with it and then claiming it is banoffee!
Ordered caramelised bread to share at £7.50, we received a portion smaller than my hand. All other Italian restaurants serve it up on a round dinner plate size for the same money. If I was not with friends I would have told them where to shove it. Needless to say I will not be returning to the prezzo chain ever again
The service was absolutely shocking! The food was ok, but I will never return based on the awful service. It was lunchtime and not busy at all so no excuses for such slow service.
Me and a friend came for dinner tonight. We had such a lovely waiter with the brown hair and mint green shirt. didn’t catch his name) excellent service. Made to feel very welcome. Great food also!
Very poor experience on two occasions (twice because unfortunately had Tesco vouchers to use so had no option… . Food was really badly prepared (burnt, missing ingredients, etc. but given the number of other tables sending back food this wasn’t a surprise to the staff who effectively shrugged their shoulders when it was pointed out, and the manager couldn’t even be bothered to come over at the end to apologise.
