Jolly Sailor - Huntingdonshire

It's been a while since I was in here. 7 years to be precise. Used to frequent it 20 years ago in the days of a previous Landlord. The present Landlord if 15 years is leaving so I guess there will be someone new next time. Always been one of my favourite pubs and nothing has really changed Excellent beer and friendly customers and staff what more does one need.

During my first visit to this pub, I unfortunately witnessed a very aggressive man who I assume is the manager, shouting and using profanity towards a middle-aged lady behind the bar. The lady did not provoke him in any way, as I was close enough to hear the entire conversation. This experience left a lasting impression on me, as first impressions are important for a business. I later found out from others in the community that I am not the only one who has witnessed this behavior from the man. It is a shame, as the pub itself is cozy, but I would not want to interact with this particular man again. While the other staff seem nice enough, their presence alone will not be enough to make me want to return.

A charming pub with a history dating back to around 400 years. They serve delicious ale, tasty food, and have a welcoming staff.

This is a lovely old traditional pub. I've not eaten here but occasionally stopped at night on the way home from the leisure centre with some pals. There is always a friendly atmosphere and everyone is welcoming.
