The best thing about this cafe is the staff, the food is always consistently great and the service is swift and efficient but it’s all the people who work there that make it truly amazing. However busy they are, they always have time for a chat and a smile. These may seem like small things but they make a huge difference, They are genuinely lovely people and that’s why it’s worth a visit.

We had a delightful breakfast with lovely crispy bacon and high-quality items, including the sausage. Everything looked fresh and the staff were wonderful. But the highlight of our experience was when my disabled father accidentally dropped his wallet with a significant amount of money in it. One of the waiters, a friendly man wearing a cap, found the wallet and returned it to us. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his honesty. This act of kindness truly stood out, as we don't often see such integrity these days. The staff were always friendly and never too busy to chat, and this honest gesture solidified our positive impression of the restaurant. We are so thankful for this honest and trustworthy staff member.

We decided to take a stroll by the river and stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant. Since we were already there, we decided to have lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the roast beef and my husband had the lasagne, both dishes were generously portioned and delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

During our recent travels down South, we decided to make an impromptu stop for food. After checking nearby for suitable venues, we stumbled upon Ambience Cafe. As we pulled into the council car park, which also serves the local park, we noticed many people dining outside. Intrigued, we went inside and ordered a jacket potato with cheese and salad, and a mushroom and onion omelette with chips. The first thing that caught my attention was the polite and friendly manner of the young man who served us, with pleasantries and thank yous. The same level of friendly and polite service was experienced with the young lady waitress when our food arrived. The meals were promptly delivered and accompanied by condiments. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. If you find yourself in the area and in need of a high-quality meal with excellent service, be sure to visit Ambience Cafe. With indoor and outdoor seating, parking, and great food, it's a great choice.

Visited today for the third time ; a family run cafe in a park near the river . Staff extremely friendly and helpful . Food excellent and large proportions too . Well worth the visit , car parking good , £1:60 for two hours with a nice walk in the park to walk off the meal !
