Very pleased with our evening. Service was very good and flexible, able to accommodate a variety of tweaks to the menu. Food was well presented and tasty.
The restaurant itself is lovely, staff were friendly and service was good. Overall, an average meal for a higher price than an average priced meal, in a nice setting. Food was generally good, but not great. Prices were high for what I ordered. For example, 5 small pieces of Calamari, no bigger than a 10p piece each, served with some rocket for £9?! And why oh why do restaurants allow dogs?? Not only for hygiene and occasionally noise, but some people, like me, are allergic to dog dander and hair. In a local pub, maybe acceptable, but in a restaurnt that costs £50 a head for a 3 course meal, erm, no thanks!
Good Sunday lunch experience excellent staff would recommend
The staff were extremely pleasant helpful giving the place a nice ambiance, the food was very good and the setting of the pub lovely
