Had coffee on site tables inside and outside) although the cafe is in an industrial area so most people are popping in. Also tasted an Italian doughnut, which was delicious. Two...coffees plus the large doughnut around $11. Two loaves of sourdough in hand $5.80 a loaf) we left. They sell a range of pies and sausage rolls and sandwiches and yummy looking cakes.

On a day just after I had finished work for the year, I stopped at Bread Nerds in the industrial suburb of Hume for a coffee and an almond croissant—their custa... read more On a day just after I had finished work for the year, I stopped at Bread Nerds in the industrial suburb of Hume for a coffee and an almond croissant—their custard filled almond croissants are awesome. I settled on a long black coffee and an orange and slivered almond cake because it looked so tasty. I went outside to sit under an umbrella provided by the café and looked across the driveway to a concrete slab being poured for a new industrial sized shed. For some reason, maybe because I had finished for the year, the coffee provided a caffeine hit in the morning, the temperature was pleasant, the staff member was friendly and smiled and the cake was yummy, I felt totally relaxed and calm. That’s pretty good for a café situated in the midst of an industrial suburb.

Good selec... read more Two minutes from the highway we eat in this big bakery for a bit, we were recommended to the pulled pork beef that was delicious and very satisfying. Good selection of pastries, cakes and other baked goods along with rolls etc. The service is helpful and friendly, highly recommended
