What TheGood or Bad likes about Wong's Restaurant:
Called in a combination #1 for pickup. Shrimp chicken balls with stir fried rice vegies with a side of sweet sauce. They pack it up to go in about 4 min . Always consistent and enough food for two. Cost was $13.50 after tax View all feedback. What Allen L doesn't like about Wong's Restaurant:
We ordered a fairly substantial quantity of takeout recently, while the portion sizes were large the quality was so-so. The ginger beef was heavy on the sauce and with some grisly pieces of meat, the lemon chicken was the strangest and most heavily battered (and overcooked) version of this dish I have ever eaten, and the wonton soup had the same flavor and consistency as the mixed vegetables. read moreWong's Restaurant in Humboldt offers a mixed experience for diners. While some dishes such as the fried rice, chicken balls, deep fried shrimp, and noodle dishes received positive reviews, others like the ginger beef and lemon chicken left much to be desired. The buffet on New Year's Eve failed to impress with bland and poorly executed dishes, although the egg rolls were a hit. Takeout orders also received mixed feedback, with some praising the shrimp and chicken balls while others found the ginger beef and chow mein lacking in taste and quality. The lunch buffet, however, was deemed decent with a variety of options including shrimp, ribs, wings, noodles, and wonton soup. Despite challenges in dining numbers during these times, the staff were praised for their friendly service and the restaurant's cleanliness. While some diners appreciated the ample portions and reasonable prices, others were disappointed and expressed a preference for trying other options in town.
