Donut Junction - Humble
Donut Junction
Description
Tucked-away, family-run donut shop is beloved for exceptionally fresh donuts, large kolaches (notably boudin and Bavarian fillings), drinkable coffee, clean space and friendly service that keeps regulars coming back. Affordable prices and quick takeaway make it a popular breakfast stop. However, guests report occasional inconsistent items and serious card-processing problems—unauthorized charges have been alleged—so cash is currently recommended. A tasty local favorite with a payment caution.

I've been coming to this place for a few years now, and I'm so glad I did. Their donuts are incredibly delicious, and their kolaches are nice and large—definitely better than Shipley's. The boudin kolache, in particular, is fantastic; it really satisfies after a long week of dieting. I can't wait to try their new brisket kolaches. This is an awesome donut shop for someone like me who is hooked!
For what some may describe as a little-known donut shop, I personally prefer this place over Shipleys. My family has been visiting here for years, and the owner always remembers us and our usual orders. It's clear that he works incredibly hard to build a great reputation for his business and to provide for his family. Regardless of any challenges he may face, he always greets customers with a warm smile. He is the reason I feel compelled to support my local businesses.
I had a troubling experience at this restaurant, and I cannot recommend it. I discovered that money was taken from my card without my permission. If you decide to visit, please consider using cash only. Their card machine prompts you to add a tip, and be warned: if you choose not to tip, they may charge your card anyway. I had to reach out to my bank because of this situation. I urge you not to make any purchases here; it feels like they are stealing!
This was my first time dining here, and unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied with my meal. However, if it suits your taste, that's wonderful! I didn't take a photo of the donut, but honestly, you’re not missing out on much.
