This place is excellent, my friends and I open seven in the evening of December 5th. It is a very clean bright place, a young man greeted us and sat down us. We have an appetizer, various drinks and a bottle of house wine and we had a main with 3 bowls of rice and a bread bowl and two different Naan bread between us, the sides recommended as enough for 7. The cost was £136, which we thought was a good value. The food was great. I'll go again.
Honestly the best Indian ever had in hull it was my first time in chowki so I asked the staff vedri to suggest, damn he was the best staff I have ever seen, he understands how and what I eat he explained me and the way he explained me, wow must try restaurant favourite pick: popadam with drink railway lamb curry best staff and chef
Excellent! We had the fried fish and paneer and chicken kebab to start, nibbling on poppadoms and pickles. Then the number 1 main of tiger prawns with lamb and spinach with sides of garlic naan and mushroom rice, it was absolutely fab and great service!
Would just like to say a massive thank u to the staff at chowki. Tonight was my mams birthday and we was so happy to be back at chowki and to celebrate a birthday at one of our favourite restaurants. The staff was and always are so friendly and chatty. Also thank u for the birthday cake we didn’t ask for it but u gave us a large chocolate cake which was beautiful thanks u all so much see u all soon xxxxxx
The restaurant has just reopened for dining in the food is amazing different from your usual Indian chef and staff very friendly will definitely be returning or ordering takeout
