Schooner's - Hull

Came here with my bf and the staff were so kind and the FOOD WAS SO AMAZING. i ordered chicken tenders and i felt like i was in heaven. they were perfectly crunchy and soft and perfect! and the tables were clean, the ketchup bottle was clean (thank god) and it was a little cozy place! amazing place 10/10 i love

After a long week of work, we spent a little time along the water to decompress. After that, we chose Schooners for a couple of their specials. We started with the Calamari, which was lightly breaded and hit the spot.My wife selected the Sausage Orecchiette, which was hot, nicely spiced, and plentiful. I went with an End Cut of Prime Rib. It looked perfect, but it was barely warm.I had a small bit or two before our very nice server returned. By that time, I had trimmed off the small amount I knew would be enough for dinner to be warmed in the kitchen the rest wld be snacks or meals for the next few days.Our server returned with my heated pieces of the End Cut and more unnecessary apologies, and they were very good. Normally, this could have been more upsetting, but given the end of a long week, and some relaxing time along the water, why bother getting worked up?Everything worked out fine in the end. Parking: The parking is free across the street as long as it isn't a beach day then you pay the DCR rate! I don't know what 2024 rates will be.

The clam chowder was excellent. It had a large portion of clams. Dont now if it was because they just opened for the day.

Always a great meal. The prime rib is delicious on Fridays and Saturdays. The seafood dishes are also very good. The clam chowder is very good. Casual atmosphere. Beachy vibes. You will never be disappointed.

Schooners came highly recommend by many, I fail to see why. Over priced for the mediocre quality of food. Overall a decent experience but nothing stands out.Odd small things- no substitutions on a fishermans platter- no refills on a $3 coke- no peppers on a house/garden saladDo yourself a favor and go to Jakes.
