Peix - Huelva

After driving round Huelva , we eventually found Peix , its actually INSIDE Huelva football ground When you know where it is .. its simple to find , but when your a stranger , hmmmmm very tricky unless your damn lucky . Ok here we go .. We arrived mid week , fancied a good fish restaurant , after climbing up an access staircase for football fans , we arrived at the restaurant , its nice enough inside , atmosphere was dead , not another customer in the building . Waitress was helpful , and kitchen looked immaculate , food was nice , nothing that I would rave about , it was OK , allowing for the lack of atmosphere and food being ok , I would be highly unlikely to re-visit , if your local and passing try it ... otherwise I don't feel its worth making a special effort for ..

If you are in the chemical area for business it's a quite good place to have lunch. Seafood is good, the price and the service is very convenient. Also the wine options are acceptable. If you have doubts about the menu follow the waiters' advice. Good suggestions!

Peix is an exclusive restaurant with excellent service. It has a generous eating area upstairs and the food is of the highiest quality, especially the fish. You also have the option of eating snacks(tapas) if you want to.There are views of the new promenade overlooking the river from the outside terrace.

I recommend the shrimp saladilla. it was very good, next to the shrimp on the plate and the octopus in the pan. a success. the waiters very attentive.

We were two couples last night, testing the menu, special for couples, all the dishes were exquisite, but the best offer of the staff.
