Description

Sofia's is a classic American "Italian" restaurant with a minimal and dated ambiance, offering good food at high prices. While some diners found the pasta dishes and chicken parm mediocre, others enjoyed the Southern breakfast options such as the 158 Southern and the Yankee with Cheddar cheese. Although some patrons have had negative experiences with the service and food quality, others have found Sofia's to be a charming spot with friendly staff and large portions. Overall, Sofia's seems to have mixed reviews, with some loyal customers returning for a warm greeting and engaging service, while others may not find the dining experience worth the price. It's a place where taste can vary greatly, so it might be worth a visit to see where you fall on the spectrum.

Great place for good food and great service. Good place for big parties.

Waiter was very slow in offering drinks and to take order. He even forgot husband's order for a drink He also made disparaging comments about my sweater and drink order, although I'm not sure he realized he was rude and thought he was being funny. My husband's meal was very good but special recommended that I ordered was ok. I would not rush back. Service really detracted from the experience.

The food was good but prices are high given the ambiance, which is minimal and dated and the service was brusque, slow and abupt. Not for a night out but ok for a quick meal

Valentines dinner was very special. The lobster ravioli with shrimp was to die for

The quality of the food has gone downhill. Two of my dining companions ordered chicken parmesan which was overcooked, burnt around the edges and dry. I was actually asked me to taste it to see if it was actually chicken because it was so thin and dry. I ordered bolognese ravioli. The ravioli was very good however the sauce was not bolognese. There was not any meat. I mentioned to the waitress the chicken parmesan was dry, she apologized and brought a free desert. We all decided we would not return to this restaurant.
