This restaurant is fantastic! They recently moved to the location where Bagel Time used to be, and now they have plenty of space. The outdoor seating is very comfortable and inviting. The food is incredibly delicious! I tried the yum mamuang special as an appetizer, which had Mango and Cilantro and was perfectly balanced. The crispy eggplant was also delicious, especially with the tofu and peanut sauce. For dessert,... View all feedback.
The first time here and new to the area. Maybe that's my favorite Thai restaurant where I was. The Pad Lake Ew was very savory, the pad Thai medium spicy brought the heat, and the Thai Iced Tea was tasteful, but not too sweet. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone who visits or lives in the area.
Grabed this place for a rainy night in Hudson and it was some of the best Thai food I ever had. We have Drunken Noodles w/ Crispy Chicken, Pad Thai w/ Tofu and Chiang Mai Noodle (Kow Soi). The latter was almost, with only a touch of hyperbole that changed life. Also note, the portion sizes are fantastic. These three dishes lasted from dinner, through late night snacking and for lunch on the following day.
Every order in the last couple of years from Isaan Thai Star has been a hit each dish is a balance of flavor and heat, the right texture and density. Service is always sweet and take out conscientiously packed. Their peanut sauce is divine we often order a side to go to have with meals at home!
Authentic delicious Thai food. I’ve been to Thailand and have experienced very good Thai restaurants in New York City. This restaurant ranks highly compared to both. Great vegan options and excellent quality.
The reviews do not lie. This is really good Thai. The new space is spacious. We had crispy eggplant w/veggies, tom kah gai (my favorite soup and an excellent test of a restaurant’s quality), and two specials: the grilled octopus salad and the seafood penang. We had someone who is sensitive to spice and they were fine (everything was quite mild). If you like food spicier you should ask them to jack it up. The portions are substantial.
