What Scott S dislikes about Dynamite Sushi:
The quality of the food has noticeably declined. I remember it being more consistent in the past, but during our recent takeout order, the items we received did not meet those standards. View all feedback.
This place is phenomenal. They have a long history of Every meal is excellent, every time in my experience. I have been ordering from Dynamite Sushi for several years. My first time eating here was around 2009. I ordered chicken noodle soup, novegetables. And it is by far the best chicken noodle soup I have ever had from an oriental dining establishment. I recentlyintroduced my boss to Dynamite Sushi, and it has become his new favorite spot for sushi. Although a California Roll is the mostbasic and beginner type of sushi, I have to acknowledge their fried California roll. I had never heard of something similarbefore where the sushi is fried, but we were blown away. Forgive me for not remembering her name; I also have to acknowledgethe woman who usually works at the front desk and or waitress during lunchtime on the weekdays. She is super friendly andwelcoming and always has a smile. She even remembers things about you if you come by more than once. I 'm the chicken noodlesoup no vegetables guy. ???? They have some awards displayed in front of their lobby, and I can see why that is. DynamiteSushi is my number one favorite sushi restaurant in all of New England.
This place is a gem. Great casual sushi bar. The type of place where they remember you. Sushi is excellent.

I recently moved to the area and ordered takeout from Dynamite Sushi. The food was incredible—we tried the crispy chicken pad Thai, gyoza, and the Godzilla roll. Everything was delicious, bursting with flavor, and felt fresh without being overly greasy. I initially forgot to provide delivery instructions since we live in a house with multiple entrances and a steep driveway. When I called the restaurant to ask if the driver could call me upon arrival, the woman who delivered my order—who I suspect was either the owner or a very attentive employee—was exceptionally friendly. She kindly asked to show her my entrance and inquired about the doorbell situation for next time. I was really impressed by her warmth and thoughtfulness. I will definitely order from here again or consider dining in next time!
I decided to try out the hidden gem of Hudson and, unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my experience. The prices were high, the wait time was lengthy, and the food didn't meet my expectations. For starters, I ordered a large miso soup, but what I received was more akin to a small serving, as I could easily compare it to what other local sushi restaurants offer. It came in a styrofoam cup, which I then transferred to a smaller plastic container that I typically use for a small miso soup. Not only was the soup overpriced, but the taste was mediocre at best and seemed somewhat stale. The pad Thai portion was significantly smaller than what I’ve encountered at other restaurants, yet it was at least $4.00 more expensive than similar dishes elsewhere. To top it off, it had an overwhelming fish oil flavor. I understand that fish oil is a common ingredient in pad Thai, but this was uncharacteristically strong. While the meal looked appealing, the chicken was quite flavorless, and the fish oil taste overshadowed everything. I ended up finishing my meal, but would I order from here again? No. I was really hoping this would become my new favorite spot, but after this first visit, I don't see myself coming back. If you enjoy small portions, high prices, and long waits, this might be the place for you!
