Beautiful building. The restaurants along Warren St are seriously beautiful. Staff was super friendly. Husband and friends were craving Hudson Valley meats/BBQ. I was sad to find nothing vegan here (they had a vegetarian burger but not vegan. Thats okay- its an American style BBQ place. BUT Hudson Valley normally has vegan choices a plenty Thats okay- I enjoyed a drink. My one friend said his sandwich was amazing. My... View all feedback.
What Christopher C doesn't like about American Glory:
I was disappointed. I have visited the Tannersville location multiple times and have always had excellent meals, but yesterday I stopped by the Hudson restaurant and was not satisfied... View all feedback.
Great Place. I've been to American Glory twice and have found the food delicious and the service excellent and the prices are reasonable for this area. I applaud the creators of this concept for their innovative use of this historic building and the way they incorporated the new concept with the original structure. Downtown Hudson putting another building back on the tax roles; that's always a good thing. I don't quite understand Janet's posts; she posts on June 8 that she doesn't like the place and claims she will never return and then on June 28 she posts that she took her daughters grad party there, contradicting herself. Why would she go back if she was that disappointed the first time? This is a relatively new restaurant and I'm sure there are still some things to work out but overall I like the concept, the food, the prices and the environment; but that's just my opinion.
I love this place. American Glory is the BBQ experience right! Amazing surroundings, good food, beer and homemade sauces. I would ask someone to look for some quality smoked BBQ to try this place, especially in the nights they have specials...Kaoke, open microphone night, live entertainment... everything I tried was great.
This place is great! I've eat here with friends frequently and we enjoy it ever time. I had dinner there with a few friends from work and my daughted came along. She broughtg her laptop and they kindly let her plug it it and use it there. As my friends and I enjoyed the time out my child was entertained too. As for the food only one word: amazing. For an appatizer we had the mac n cheese balls that were spectacular. We also had wings that didn't come with sause and we had to create our own with the many kinds they had to choose from. For sure one of the best in hudson.
Great Place. I want to thank Joe and his team on the great creation that American Glory had become...it is a place that makes you feel comfortable. My family (children included) have enjoyed many times there and plan on many more!!!
This place is a keeper!. I consider myself a BBQ aficionado so when I heard this place had opened I had to try it out. I've been there twice and tried several of their specialties and have been very pleased. The St. Louis ribs are succulent and really tender. They offer sauces on the table which I much prefer because I hate when ribs are smothered in them. These ribs are so tasty you don't need any additional flavors. Had the smoked prime rib this weekend and it was way better then any I've had in the best steakhouses in Manhattan (where I might add, I've spent over two times the price for half the portion and flavor) My girlfriend had the bodacious wedge which was delicious and the salmon which was served on a cedar plank was spectacular. The loaded fries are fantastic, the buffalo shrimp has a great zesty kick and the deviled eggs were great. Although we were so full from the meals we had to try the deserts We tried three the warm apple crisp is fantastic and the Derby pie better then ones I've had down south. The chocolate cake is also really good and very light can't go wrong with any of the choices. The menu is really expansive and the attention to detail in the presentation and clever dishes in which foods are served is so appealing. The decor is upscale and the selection of beers and spirits is huge. The bar has these really cool frozen towers that serve the beer ice cold as well as spirits and specialty drinks like mint juleps (equal to ones we've had in Kentucky). The owner is very friendly and welcoming and makes a point of introducing himself to the patrons and being very visible and accommodating. We eat out most nights and are really impressed at how together this operation is having only been opened a couple of weeks. The downstairs bar gets busy and packed on weekend nights so we made reservations for the upstairs dining room which is quieter and more intimate. There's an outside area which is also a terrific option for dining. We are thrilled that there's finally an upscale fun affordable place to frequent in Hudson.
