What Old Rusty Time Fork doesn't like about Capt'n Nemo's Winnetka:
I started going here as a Kid, and kept going as an adult, until they turned to garbage. They had great sandwiches and soup, for decades. Recently, things changed. The food is now below average, at best. I've never seen such a decline in a sandwich shop. It's incredible. View all feedback.

Best turkey breast sandwich I ever had! Get it toasted! Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere.
Turkey club sandwich and Balboa sandwich were so delicious! Great place :
I biked from Rodgers Park just to get my favorite sandwich, the Balboa. I love this place and the owner is super friendly. Service is fast and the taste is some of the best in the city. I always pick up a bottle of their secret sauce when I am here too it goes great on everything. Try the new lentil soup ?
Could be cleaner looking but the food is still quality. Spectacular is insane.
