If you want to immerse yourself in a photographic history of Huaraz while enjoying food items that are genuinely Peruvian go here. Our Peruvian host took us there for lunch. We enjoyed a couple of local specialties (all vegan plus a fish item that is somewhere between calamari and beef jerky! There were lots of different sauces to try too. For a cevicheria, Taita doesn´t offer many options and there are better places in town, but the atmosphere and photos on the wall, as well as the small tables and local audience makes for this a worth while lunch once in a while. Servings are small though. View all feedback.
