Market Restaurant Bar - Hove

I called this restaurant at the last minute for a late Valentine's Day dinner, and although they were fully booked online, they managed to accommodate us! We were seated at the bar, which gave us a great view of the chefs preparing some of the fantastic meals on offer. I initially wanted a main steak, but I quickly found myself tempted by the amazing tapas. We ordered three dishes, which was more than enough, and they were all delicious! I especially loved the fresh scallops and the beer. We paired our meal with a Malbec that was just perfect, and we indulged in one of the best sticky toffee puddings I've ever had. It was definitely worth the money!

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant and absolutely loved everything about it. It's not often that I'm truly impressed, but this young team exceeded my expectations. We felt incredibly welcomed, and every dish was exceptional. The food was fantastic, the wine was wonderful, and the staff were beautiful. This has become my new favorite place to eat!

I highly recommend this restaurant! The ambiance is fantastic, whether you choose a table or the bar area, both of which offer generous seating. The value for money is excellent, and the brunch cocktails are top-notch. The staff was friendly, and they played Grace Jones along with other great music – what's not to love? I will definitely be coming back!

The best tapas I have ever had! amazing oysters, melt in mouth pork bauch, simple but tasty garnels, perfect tuna, delicious 30 days bark meat, delicious cheese and chorizo croquetas and heavenly deep roasted kale. we had 9 dishes between 2 people, as we could not decide about only 6! attentive, friendly staff and it was amazing to watch the cook while sitting on the bar. everything in all, an amazing experience. highly recommended!

This was my fave place to eat when it was Graze, and it still is now its Market (except the food has got better! . The only problem is we have now moved 30 seconds walk away which means we will be spending far too much time and money here in future. The taster dishes are all superb (took the folks and even they loved it and they a fussy wotsits! . The service is always superb, attentive but not annoying and it's nice to chat about the dishes. They even gave us some free beers as we had to wait for our desert (I didn't even think we'd waited that long ! In fact they gave us a free drink when we went for breaky, that was just for being regulars! It's little things like that that keep u coming back. The only thing that I ever ever eaten here that wasn't amazing was the burger. That was a little dry and there are too many specialist burger places in Brighton doing them better but it's not really what I want to eat when I come here anyway. Did I mention the on tap beer (in schooners it's amazing. Will be back soon (want to try the Sunday roast !
