Van Leeuwen Ice Cream - Houston

The only drawback was the limited seating options, with only a small marble bench and two tables available. There were no chairs, making it challenging for larger individuals to comfortably enjoy their treats. However, the store stays open late and provides good service. Despite the seating limitations, we would definitely return for another visit as we had a very pleasant experience. Overall, it felt like a gourmet treat!

I arrived at the restaurant shortly before closing time. I inquired about three different items on the menu and was informed that the ingredients for all of them had already been put away and the server did not offer to make any exceptions. The staff seemed busy and annoyed that we had arrived so close to closing time, but I don't believe this is the fault of the customer. The ice cream shop owner clearly indicates their operating hours on the sign, but there is no mention of a last call or the start of cleanup before closing time. The overall experience was just okay and the food was average tasting, making it seem overpriced in my opinion.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The decor was lovely and there were so many amazing smells. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I am lactose intolerant but was thrilled to find plenty of delicious options to choose from. It was great to be able to enjoy "normal" dishes that tasted so good!

High-end ice cream with great aromas, great service. they'll let them rehearse without problems. real ice and vegan options. highly recommended All-the-Cookies

We stopped in for some ice cream for our last night in Texas and boy were we pleasantly surprised at how delicious this ice cream was! I had a scoop of Marionberry and cookies n cream…so good together! My husband had honeycomb which he also loved. The ice cream is very smooth and creamy. The young man waiting on us was very friendly and helpful with offering samples to try. ????
