What Anne Laure Vartian doesn't like about Uptown Sushi:
I visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekday after being in the area and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the service. I’ve never experienced such a long wait for food before; it took over 30 minutes to receive an order of salmon, three rolls, and three types of sashimi, each with four pieces. On a positive note, the food is fresh. The rolls have just the right amount of rice... View all feedback.
First date spot with my now husband. We had a variety of the sushi roll options that the lovely waitress had recommended. The service for both the edamame along with sushi were fast. We were sat and out within a hour. The feel of the restaurant is definitely upscale and spacious.
Uptown is my favorite sushi spot in Houston. I'm sure there is better out there, but the quality of food, service and experience have always been top notch whenever I've visited. It's one of those places that every bite is better than the last.
Had my birthday lunch here with my wife. Food was great, service was good, and it's a very nice place inside. No complaints from me.Parking: The spots are a little narrow for even my small car. We got there early so didn't have any issues finding a spot but when we left there were people struggling to find spots.
Quality fish, elegant setting, usually can grab a table without too much wait.
Just had a drink at bar. Did not care for this place at all. Didn’t smell good, noisy, terrible layout.
