Waited for help to be seated and no one was there, then went to bar and one bartender with 10 people waiting for drinks. We left after getting no service
Tipping Point provided an exceptional meal with great service in a wonderful environment.
We went to this restaurant on Thanksgiving day following a recommendation of the Houston Press and we could not be more disappointed. There was TG menu with a few choices fir appetizers, main dish and dessert. Appetizers were good (we tried both the lamb duo and the brief en croute) but it took the restaurant 25 minutes to bring them. It went down from there. Main dish was all reheated food, one of the plates was not reheated properly and it was barely warm. Green beans were super soggy as if taken out of a can. We complained about temperature and chef came to said something we could not understand and went back without even apologizing. Even worse, the dessert tasted like taken out a store bought box. The pecan pie was a la mode but they forgot to warm up the pie so it was a bad cold pie (HEB is way better), with a huge ball of average vanilla ice cream on top. The only good thing about this place is that it is nicely decorated. I would say its for hotel visitors only and perhaps hace a drink... but for food go somewhere else.
